Little Hoopers Director Opening!
Hello RYBA families! Do you have ideas on how to make RYBA a better program for our Roseville youngsters and are looking for ways to contribute? The RYBA board needs your help!
We currently have a very important volunteer position open that needs to be filled soon to have a successful basketball season this year and into the future. We are looking for an individual (or group of individuals) to step into the Little Hoopers Director role.
After three years of hard work building our Little Hoopers program into what it is today, our previous director, Dan Ash, is moving into a new role on the RYBA board and taking on additional coaching responsibilities within our program. We all greatly appreciate his efforts to keep Little Hoopers up and running and continue to improve our K-2nd grade program.
Alas–we need a new Dan! Or two half Dans! If you are interested in hearing more about the Little Hoopers Director role, you can email rybahoops@gmail.com or contact Dan directly at danielwash@hotmail.com to get a feel for the responsibilities. You can also find any RYBA board member at our Ice Cream Social this Sunday to find out more.
In short, the Little Hoopers Director is responsible for setting up teams, finding coaches and communicating with Little Hoopers families. No basketball playing/coaching experience or really any knowledge of the sport is necessary to be successful in this role. Also, Dan and us other board members will be there to help you grow into the position. Taking this position satisfies all volunteer requirements for your family. If you have the time and the drive, please consider helping us and our Roseville community out. We really need you!
