RYBA Sponsored Travel Tournaments The dates for the RYBA sponsored travel tournaments have been set! Proceeds from these tournaments directly fund RYBA activities and help mitigate the cost of participation in travel basketball for our players. The 20th Annual Roseville Girls Holiday Classic will be held December 12th – 14th, 2008. We will have 120 teams participating in this years tournament! The 20th Annual Roseville Boys Winter Classic will be held February 27th – March 1st, 2009. Click on the appropriate link to view the tournament flyer. If you have any questions concerning either of these tournaments, please contact Eric Jacobson or Sally Karlen.
Managing Travel Basketball Costs
RYBA has a stated philosophy that program costs should not keep kids from playing basketball. RYBA has had a scholarship program in place for years to assist families. As the economy tightens, many of us will feel the pinch but we do not qualify for economic assistance. RYBA is investigating the level of interest in a program to help families mitigate the cost of travel basketball. Briefly, groups would be organized to take part in fund raising events and the moneys raised would be used to offset basketball costs for participating families. If you are interested in participating or learning more, please contact Tom Johnson.
